A performance about the Holocaust
July 31st 2010
Agnes Janich deals with memory - that of history and that of violence - in her installations, films, sound pieces, pictures and sculptures. Her recent work concerns the Annihilation. She visited 19 concentration camps, met 80 survivors, read half a thousand diaries. She put together a collection of stories of Love's victory over Death, Till Death Do Us Part. Her performance and sound installation will open this Sat at 10pm as part of Era New Horizons film festival in front of the White Stork Synagogue.
