Agnes Janich received a Kulturhaus Villa Sträuli Artist in Residence grant in 2007. It was a monetary and residential grant, awarded by the private Sulzberg Foundation for a residency in the Kulturhaus Villa Sträuli in Winterthur, CH. Agnes Janich maintained contact with the Kulturhaus Villa Sträuli over the years, revisiting in 2012, while participating in Platform 2012 at the Fotomuseum Winterthur, CH, holding an Artist's Talk promoting her monograph, Agnes Janich, Body Memory, in 2013, and contributing works to a charity auction supporting the Kulturhaus Villa Sträul in 2010.
