Agnes Janich has been living in Genève, Switzerland (in Suisse romande, so French-speaking Switzerland), from late 2016. She has now decided to establish a second studio in sunny Mendrisio, Ticino (in Svizzera italiana, so Italian-speaking Switzerland), in 2023.
After a childhood spent in Singapore (the district of Bukit Timah) and Johannesburg (the district of Sandton), the Republic of South Africa, thanks to her diplomat and commodity trader Grandfather, and a youth spent in New York City (the district of Manhattan Beach) and Poland (Warsaw, the district of Śródmieście, downtown) - Agnes Janich now makes Genève, Switzerland and Mendrisio, Ticino her home for good.
